The 2017 season is off and running. Round 1 was held at Barbagallo Raceway under lights at the Nightmasters event. Qualifying was tricky on a drying track. The rest of the meeting had good weather but was unusually cold.
There were plenty of ups and downs across the field with one of the highlights being Rob Roelof's return to HQ racing after a 5 year hiatus.
Unfortunately regular competitor Mark Alfonsi had a major incident down the back of the circuit and his car suffered heavy damage. Thankfully all drivers involved were OK.
